Djokovic to return in December

Novak Djokovic announced his return in December, when he will play at the World Tennis Championship. The exhibition event is held in Abu Dhabi and is scheduled from 28th to 30th of December.

The Serbian champion won it in the past and is happy to be there again, as it will be a great test. The line up is astonishing, containing also World number 1, Rafa Nadal.

Also coming from injury are Swiss number 2, Stan Wawrinka, and Canadian Milos Raonic. The line up is completed by Dominic Thiem and Pablo Carreno Busta.

The 12-time Grand Slam champion returns after an elbow injury that kept him away from the ATP tour since Wimbledon. Nole declared for the official site of the event:

It is a huge honour to take part in such a special tournament. The line-up is very strong as always and it will be the perfect way to make my comeback and begin the season.
